“Frau Claudia presents to the young reader the same message she shares with my first graders as their German music teacher: Happiness and meaning can be found in every corner of life when one reaches out to help others. May this book move many little hearts to become a true friend!” – Janice Narveson, First Grade German Teacher at Albert Einstein Academy |
About the Author

Claudia Lorenz (Frau Claudia) was born in Austria where she
worked as a Kindergarten teacher. She later earned her American Montessori
teaching credential in 2008. It was then, when she discovered a passion for
teaching young children “German through Music” at the German immersion school
Albert Einstein Academy Charter School.
Frau Claudia’s creativity and love for children inspired her to write her first bilingual children’s book about Frieda the Snail, who, after a long journey, finds her true friend, her true self. The story should encourage all the children to believe in themselves and find the beauty inside themselves.
Frau Claudia lives with her husband and their two daughters in San Diego, California.
